Day 4 - train to Malang
It takes 8 hours to reach Malang from Yogyakarta by train. Get there early at Tugu Station and take the 7:45 am train. The Malioboro Express route is very comfortable, and you can have great conversations with locals.

Day 7 -8 Bromo
Mount Bromo, or Bromo volcano is a must in Java. Still active, you can see the smoke coming out of the crater. The place itself is incredible, a must do !

Day 9 - 10 Ijen
To take a slap this is the place ! Descending into a volcano crater in the midst of miners is a rewarding experience that will open your eyes to your condition. Prepare to see blue fire for the first time in your life, and a sunrise over an acid lake.
